Description

The Entry-Line series stands for economical and powerful Plug and Play Industrial Ethernet solutions. It offers a wide range of devices with diverse features. The Entry Line Gigabit Switches PoE+ product series consists of two versions with different features in terms of network interfaces:

- 8-Port Gigabit Switch (8x 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+)

- 6-Port Gigabit Fiber Switch (4x 10/100/1000Base-T PoE+, 2x 100/1000Base-X SFP-Slots, 1x Combo 10/100/1000Base-T)

In particular, the maximum power budget available for the provision of PoE+ ports (according to IEEE 802.3af/at) makes the devices powerful network distributors and suppliers. The use of full PoE+ performance is possible with these components. The 6-port Gigabit version is designed with four Gigabit copper connections with PoE+, a 10/100/1000T or 100/1000X SFP combo port and a Dual Speed 100/1000X SFP slot.

Whether video surveillance, security technology, IP-based intercom or WiFi access points - more and more end devices require higher power supply and data rates in the Gigabit/s range. The Entry Line Gigabit Switches with PoE+ meet the increased requirements successfully. The four or eight 10/100/1000Base-T ports can supply end devices with up to 30 W per port.

Three power supply inputs enable redundant power supply to the switches and connected devices. If the voltage of the primary or secondary supply fails, an alarm can be triggered. The robust metal housing with DIN-Rail adapter (as well as alternative wall mounting adapters included) and the extended operating temperature range from -40° to +75°C are further features of the Entry Line series.
