Redundant construction, parallel access and automatic documentation
The NMP server allows up to 50 administrators to access the system at once and automatically recognizes when a single device is being configured from multiple locations simultaneously. The server version saves information about device grouping, configuration and topology - including all change histories - in an SQL database. This gives administrators uninterrupted documentation of all changes and configuration work as well as precise information on the corresponding user.
Shortened restoration times
Practical functions, such as time-controlled firmware updates or automatic transferral of master configuration settings to the device group level, shorten restore times and make administrators' work easier. When a device is replaced, the programme detects the identical model and can then automatically restore configurations as well as firmware settings. On top of that, the NMP software also takes care of end-to-end provisioning for the MICROSENS Optical Transport Platform. Individual services need only be configured at their respective starting and ending points. All intermediate systems are then automatically configured by the NMP server.
