New network management platform NMP Web+ from MICROSENS for simple, efficient network management

Hamm, July 03, 2023 - With the new NMP Web+, MICROSENS offers users, facility managers and administrators an easy-to-use solution for simple and efficient network management. Thanks to the clear graphical user interface, all important information down to port level can be captured at a glance.

With NMP Web+, no installation is required on users' end devices; an existing browser such as Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome is all that is needed. Thus, NMP Web+ meets the security requirements of many companies, where the installation of software on user devices is subject to strict restrictions. Powerful user management allows multiple users to work with NMP Web+ simultaneously via desktop PC, laptop or tablet.

Another important security feature: the NMP Web+ database runs well-protected on the company's own network and is managed by its own IT department.

"In addition to security, continuity, sustainability and investment protection are among the key points at MICROSENS," says Guido Böttcher, Team Leader QA Development at MICROSENS. "Our long-standing customers rightly rely on the fact that MICROSENS solutions can be used far longer than is generally the case."

NMP Web+ also recognizes and manages old devices, such as the third-generation MICROSENS Micro Switches, which have been working reliably for many users for over twenty years. An existing database from an earlier NMP version can easily be adopted by NMP Web+.

With the new scheduler function, tasks such as creating backups can be conveniently scheduled and automated. This ensures that everything is done on time and nothing is forgotten.
