Description

Active network components that have Power-over-Ethernet, PoE+ or higher performance classes usually require an external high-performance supply of 48 VDC. MICROSENS offers special power supplies in industrial DIN rail design for this extremely demanding application.

The main feature of these power supply units is their insensitivity to electrical interference, which is particularly important for failure-sensitive applications. Further important features are high efficiency, extended temperature range, compact dimensions and easy snap-on mounting on DIN rails.

The robust power supplies are available in the 50, 120, 240, 480 and 600 W power classes. The output voltage of 48 VDC can be set up to 56 VDC directly at the power supply. This is especially important for PoE+ (according to IEEE 802.3at with up to 30 W per port). All devices also feature effective overvoltage and overload protection.
