Description

The management agent of the MSP800 series is designed as an SNMP and web-based plug-in module and occupies one module slot in the chassis system.

The agent is the only way to make the system monitorable and administrable remotely. All manageable application modules of the MSP800 series can be administered via this agent.

The standardized Management Information Base (MIB) guarantees the necessary compatibility with common network management systems. In addition, the web-based management allows visualization with the help of an Internet browser.

Configuration is done via a serial console port (SUBD-9). Future firmware updates can be carried out via an FTP upload. Current operating states such as power supply, fan status, temperature and connection status can be evaluated by the management.
