Description

The MS400995M is a L3 multi-10G fiber switch with a total of 26 physical fiber interfaces. 2 of the ports are designed as 40G uplink ports and 24 as 10G ports. The power supply is 230 VAC and can optionally be redundant.

The existing feature set (firmware) corresponds to the powerful hardware. Especially in the area of IT security, the MS400995M supports common IEEE standards for building secure and powerful IP networks.
Various standardized interfaces are available to provide management access for configuration or administration purposes

- SNMP (v1/v2c/v3)
- Serial interface RS-232 (outband, designed as RJ-45)

This switch can be used as an efficient distribution component in 10G FTTO infrastructures, especially in the central access area. The connection to the core system provides high performance and offers optional redundancy with 40G Ethernet.

In combination with the 10G Micro Switch from MICROSENS, cost-efficient high-performance networks with 10G up to the user can be established.
